How Maxwell Robotics GmbH collects, stores, uses, and shares personal data submitted through this site.
This Application (hereinafter referred to as “Maxwell Robotics” or “this Application”) collects some personal data from its users. This Privacy Policy describes how and why we collect, store, use, and share your information when you use our services. By using this Application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Maxwell Robotics GmbH has not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as it does not meet the thresholds under § 38 BDSG or Art. 37 GDPR.
2. Disclosure under §5 DDG
Information in accordance with §5 DDG is provided above (see "1. Owner and Data Controller").
Liability for Content
As a service provider, we are responsible under general law for our own content on these pages pursuant to § 7(1) DDG (Digitale-Dienste-Gesetz). However, under Art. 6 and Art. 8 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act – DSA), which apply directly to all service providers pursuant to § 7(1) DDG, we are not obliged as a hosting provider to generally monitor information transmitted or stored by third parties, or to actively investigate circumstances indicating unlawful activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general law (see also § 8 DDG) remain unaffected. However, liability in this regard is only possible from the point in time at which we become aware of a specific infringement. Upon becoming aware of any such infringement, we will remove the content in question immediately.
Liability for Links
Our pages contain links to external websites operated by third parties, over whose content we have no influence and for which we accept no liability. The respective provider or operator of a linked page is always responsible for its content.
3. Types of Data Collected
This site collects data through the contact form on the homepage, when a visitor voluntarily submits it; one functional cookie described below that remembers your language choice; and anonymized, aggregate visit statistics described below. This site runs no advertising, marketing, or cross-site tracking scripts.
If you use the optional "I'd also like to book a call" option in the contact form, we additionally collect your requested meeting date, time, and duration, which is checked against calendar availability. If a meeting is confirmed (either directly, or after a reviewer proposes a different time and you accept it), your email address is used to send you a calendar invitation containing a Google Meet video-call link.
Should this change in future (for example, if cookie-based analytics or marketing tracking is added), this policy will be updated in advance, and, where required by law (§ 25 TDDDG, Art. 6/7 GDPR), your consent will be obtained before any such technology is activated.

Your language setting
This site shows the English version by default. Nothing about your device, network, or location is used to guess a language for you. If you switch to German using the language switcher in the header, that choice is saved in a cookie named NEXT_LOCALE on your device, valid for 1 year, so the site can show you German again on your next visit. This cookie stores only your selected language, nothing else, is never shared with any third party, and is set only once you actively make a choice.
Website analytics
This site uses Umami (Umami Software, Inc.), a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand overall site usage, for example which pages are viewed, which site referred you, and general device, browser, and country-level information. Umami does not use cookies or any other technology to store or read information on your device, does not assign you a persistent identifier, and does not track you across other websites. Your IP address is used only momentarily to derive a coarse, country-level location and is never stored. Because no personal data is collected and nothing is stored on or read from your device, this analytics use does not require cookie consent under § 25 TDDDG and does not constitute processing of personal data under the GDPR. Data is processed on Umami's EU (Germany) infrastructure.
4. Mode and Place of Processing the Data
The Owner takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of the data. Data submitted via the contact form is used solely to respond to the inquiry.

- Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (necessary for inquiries relating to a prospective contract) and/or, where Art. 6(1)(b) does not apply, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry and maintaining business communication).
If your inquiry leads to a business relationship, contact-form data is retained for the duration of that relationship plus any applicable statutory retention period under German commercial/tax law (e.g. §257 HGB / §147 AO, typically 6 or 10 years). If it does not lead to a business relationship, the data is deleted within 90 days of the inquiry being fully handled. Calendar entries created for a requested meeting (including any associated Google Meet link) are kept only as long as needed for that purpose and are deleted once the meeting has taken place or the request did not lead to a confirmed meeting.
5. The Purposes of Processing
The data is collected to respond to the user's inquiry, to comply with legal obligations, and to protect the Owner's legitimate business interests.
6. Recipients
Data may be shared with IT/hosting service providers acting as processors under Art. 28 GDPR, strictly as needed to operate the site and email systems.
Every contact-form submission is sent as an email through Resend (Resend, Inc.), a US-based transactional email service, which processes the submission solely to deliver it to the company. Resend acts as a processor for this purpose under Art. 28 GDPR.
If you use the optional meeting-scheduling feature, your full name, email address, organization (if provided), type of inquiry (if provided), your message, and your requested meeting date, time, and duration are also shared with Google (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC), which provides the Google Calendar API used to check availability and create the calendar event, and Google Meet, used to generate the video-call link for a confirmed meeting. Google acts as a processor for this purpose under Art. 28 GDPR.
7. The Rights of Users
Users have the right to:

8. International Data Transfers
Every contact-form submission is processed by Resend, Inc., a US-based transactional email service, which may involve transferring data outside the EU/EEA. Resend's data processing terms provide for the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR) as a safeguard for any such transfer.
Where you use the optional meeting-scheduling feature, your full name, email address, organization (if provided), type of inquiry (if provided), your message, and your requested meeting date, time, and duration are processed by Google, which may involve transferring data outside the EU/EEA. Google's data processing terms provide for the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR) as a safeguard for any such transfer.
Aside from the above, this website's hosting infrastructure is located within the European Union. As a result, no third-country transfer basis is required for the hosting of this website itself.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
The Owner reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “last updated” date on this page.
