About Maxwell Robotics
Robotics and automation engineers who turn ideas into working systems.
Maxwell Robotics was founded by robotics engineers from the Technical University of Munich. We kept seeing the same pattern across startups and enterprises alike: strong ideas that never made it past a slide deck, because nobody owned the path from concept to a working system.
So we built that path ourselves. We've built automated medical devices, integrated voice AI onto humanoid platforms, and given quadruped robots the autonomy to navigate on their own. It's hardware, software, and AI, engineered end-to-end, never handed off in pieces.
Why Robotics, Why Now?
Germany is already one of the most automated economies in the world, with around 429 industrial robots for every 10,000 manufacturing employees and over 250,000 robots in operation: the highest robot stock in the EU. And this is just the beginning.
Analysts expect the German industrial robotics market to roughly double by 2030, reaching about $2.6–3.5 billion in annual revenue, growing 7–12% a year depending on the segment. Warehouse robotics alone is projected to grow from roughly €300 million today to more than €550 million by 2030.
At the same time, the Mittelstand is under real pressure. Around 75% of companies report difficulty filling skilled positions, and about half of employees already see robots as a key way to address the shortage. Lack of qualified staff, high energy prices, and bureaucracy top the list of concerns for mid-sized firms, yet automation still ranks surprisingly low on their priority lists.
That gap between clear need and actual implementation is exactly where Maxwell Robotics operates. We help German companies turn robotics from a buzzword into a concrete competitive advantage: solutions that are technically state of the art, economically sound, and built for the realities of production and logistics.

What We Do
Consulting for the Mittelstand
We help mid-sized companies identify concrete, realistic automation use cases, calculate the business case (ROI, payback, and total cost of ownership), and design step-by-step roadmaps that work under real-world constraints, not lab conditions.
OEM-independent robot selection
Mobile bases, arms, quadrupeds, humanoids: we evaluate the platforms on the market and recommend only what actually fits your processes and budget.
Integration & development
From perception and navigation to safety and interfaces with your existing IT/OT systems, we turn demo robots into stable production systems that operate reliably in your factory, warehouse, or campus.
Training & documentation
We provide manuals and developer docs, train your team to operate and maintain the robots safely, and support your engineers as they build on top of our solutions.
Long-term support
Remote support, software updates, and proactive maintenance keep your robot fleet improving every year, instead of just aging.
