GNSS-Driven AMR for Surface Mining Operations
We designed and deployed a custom autonomous mobile robot to perform automated land surveying for surface mining operations. To achieve precise autonomous navigation in unstructured environments, we used GNSS-RTK technology for centimeter-level global positioning accuracy. The robot creates physical markings across large areas based on a predefined grid of GPS coordinates.

Outcome
Centimeter-level GNSS-RTK positioning, a custom-built marking actuator, and autopilot-based path planning came together in a single rover, purpose-built for one customer's terrain and workflow rather than adapted from a generic platform. Getting there required the full stack: software, electrical, and mechanical design working as one.
